Honest Sleeves

This week (as well as the coming weeks) is/are going to be a little different. I am going to be devoting my time to my craft.

I AM a Character Animator. A Game Animation Artist.

So... How does that change things? I can take the time to continue making these mixes for listening pleasure, but I don't have the time to go through and make covers for every single mix. I just won't have that time. These posts will be shorter too for the coming weeks. But, let's talk the mix now.

Another reason this week in particular is different... This is an old mix, updated with additional songs, except-

It's all Watsky.

When I get down, when I hit the bottom over and over again, these songs remind me of genuine authenticity. They remind me to pick myself up and keep going. And before you ask, yes, I hit that bottom pretty hard recently. I'm okay though. Give this a listen, take a peak inside some of my honest thoughts.

People say they wear their hearts on their sleeves, but honest sleeves are rolled up, ready for work, exposing everything beneath. NOT just the heart.

I did a mix like this one once before I rebooted the Friday Mix concept with this website. Maybe I'll post that mix sometime too. My pillars deserve introduction. You can think of mixes like this one as "This is [ARTIST]" mixes. Introductions to their music and highlights of their best works in my opinion.

Either way, let me know what you think. If you like this, I'd love to hear from you.

But no matter what,
