Luminous Companions

Thanksgiving has come to an end and now we enter the final phase of the year. A time when we can all get excited and celebrate all sorts of holiday traditions! Every tradition, whether old or new, is important during this time. They remind us so much and often bring out the brighter side of humanity! I would say any of these... Luminous companions would be worthy of celebration. They helps us to grow, to love, to give; all of these sorts of things! That is what today's mix aims to achieve: honoring old traditions and taking in new ones!

For me, I celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah (yes, generally both every year, though only one is chosen for presents)! Now that we are in the last phase, let's enjoy some new and some old Christmas music! They compliment each other more than you'd think, when choreographed to with that goal in mind! I wanted to make a Christmas mix without it being only the traditional songs alone. Many do show up, but there are some indie gems as well as some old gems you might not have heard of before!

I know, it's a longer list this week! Even so, if you wish to explore further, I have an extra indie gem not available through Spotify and is only found on YouTube, so for that reason, I am choosing to include it here as a bonus song! I also used this in last year's mix before I included Spotify into my stream of mixes. Truly, this is one of my favorite versions of this song! A little crazy, but fun all-the-same.
