Tragic Dreamscapes feat. Genesis

This week, I went looking for a little help. The collaborative result is what you'll hear shortly! Together with Genesis, we set out to handcraft a mix that illustrates a specific moment in time. One I'm sure we all can relate to having felt in one form or another!

Have you ever had a fantastic dream? One that felt so real, so perfect, so tragically unrealistic? One that made you feel in your sleep truly happy, only to be literally awoken from that dream to the reality of your life? The realization sets in that the dream was just that, a dream, and your personal demons take their hold and leave you reeling for the rest of the morning. Doubts, Anxieties, Fear, Self-Loathing, Depression. You wanted that dream so clearly, so sincerely and yet, it was but a dream that left you in a different place. You wish you could go back, but the damage, is done.

Perhaps you haven't experienced this sort of instance, and if you have not, then this mix should illustrate what it is like. The emotional narrative that arcs between the moment of dreaming and the moment you come out of the negativity left by it's tainted perfection. Because ultimately, we do come out of that negativity, and we keep going. Thank you for listening to these playlists and mixes. It really means more than you could know, but the most important thing to remember is...
